ACAR announced – bed allocations have dropped, again

The results of the 2009/10 Aged Care Allocations Round (ACAR) have been announced by Mark Butler, the Minister for Mental Health and Ageing. 8,140 new aged care bed licences were available but only 5,643 have been allocated. 60% of the places allocated are high care beds.
