Anglican Retirement Villages’ (ARV) innovative university village plan gets the green light

ARV continues to find land in unusual places. They have purchased 5.8 hectares within
the University of Western Sydney’s (UWS) Kingswood campus, with concept plans for a
new retirement village, including an aged care facility, now approved by Penrith Council.
This is on top of Sydney’s first ‘vertical village’ that ARV negotiated approval with NSW’s
Planning Minister, Frank Sartor, to be built as part of Landcom’s rejuvenation of the
Victoria Park precinct in industrial Zetland.
