A survey of 6,000 baby boomers aged 45 to 64 showed that many baby boomers will be looking towards family or the Government to cover health care costs. The survey by Fujitsu Consulting found that 69 percent see superannuation as the main future source of income and 57 percent had no private health insurance. Fujitsu’s Martin North said: “There are 5.6 million people aged between 45 and 65 years of age and less than a million of those have a secure future in terms of their superannuation and health funding.”
