Metacap, the development company launching in to Over 50s land lease communities and retirement living, known as Riverbend Resorts, has lodged plans to build 162 seniors’ housing units, from 159sqm to 201sqm in size, just outside the town of Bermagui, 389km south of Sydney.
The development application, lodged with Bega Valley Shire Council, is for an estimated cost of $26.48 million and would be built in six stages. The owner of the land is Mordana Pty Ltd and it is being developed by Metacap.
Riverbend Resorts is currently offering retirement living sites in Hervey Bay and Agnes Waters and has announced a residential and Over 55s development The Dunes in Port Hughes, South Australia. It is building three new retirement villages at Ballina, in NSW’s Northern Rivers; Burpengary in the City of Moreton Bay, and Yandina in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.
