The Not For Profit's 96-bed BaptistCare Elderslie aged care home, which is located about 65km south west of the Sydney CBD, is scheduled to open its doors early next year.

The home's design is based on the household model of care, with each household featuring 16 single rooms with ensuites. Residents will have access to a shared kitchen, dining room, and lounge area. The home will also include a hair salon, café, chapel, health clinic, and a specially-designed dementia garden.

“We're deeply committed to fostering communities where every individual can thrive, irrespective of their age. BaptistCare Elderslie is a testament to our dedication to creating spaces that encourage connection, community, and care," said Charles Moore, BaptistCare CEO.

BaptistCare completed the acquisition of Presbyterian Aged Care's home care business on 1 June 2023, gaining 70 new employees and 1,000 home care clients.
