Prestige Inhome Care takes on Vision Australia’s Home Care Packages

1 min read

Prestige Inhome Care has assumed management of Vision Australia’s Home Care Package (HCP) clients, effective 1 October 2025.

Vision Australia, a Not For Profit that delivers blindness and low vision services nationwide through clinics and outreach, has partnered with family-owned Prestige Inhome Care for more than a decade – giving Prestige an understanding of the needs of the blind and low-vision community.

Under the transition, Vision Australia’s case managers will join Prestige as employees and continue working with their clients to ensure continuity of care. Vision Australia will keep training and supporting care staff so specialised services for people with vision impairment are maintained.

Founded 20 years ago by siblings Nick McDonald and Thea McCroary, Prestige Inhome Care operates in Melbourne, Geelong, the Mornington Peninsula, Sydney and the Sunshine Coast, with more than 800 staff providing services to around 400 clients each week.

“We are deeply proud to continue the incredible work Vision Australia has done in supporting the blind and low vision community,” said Nick McDonald, CEO and Founder of Prestige Inhome Care. “Our team is passionate about making lives better and dedicated to delivering exceptional service tailored to each individual’s needs.”
