NSW – Fed Gov gives $855K to Uralba Retirement Village at Carcoar

Published on

Locate d 260 kilometres west of Sydney and with a population of 218, Carcoar managed to get the Federal Government to provide $855,000 of its $1.08M retirement village development. Sounds generous but they are delivering great value – 6 ILU’s, new offices and extension of community facilities. Do the maths. Each ILU must cost just $100K approx. Idle information – Carcoar was the site of Australia’s first uranium deposit discovery.
