Gosford Council approved an 111-room aged care hostel at Lisarow last Tuesday. Councillor Vicki Scott went so far as to say the Federal Department of Health and Ageing and developer Astoria Platinum Villages deserved to be recognised for their contribution to affordable housing for the elderly. Astoria will develop the two-storey hostel as part of the existing village.
