After being named Acting CEO in April after the departure of Karen Borg, it was announced today that Josh has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the owner and operator of 41 residential aged care homes, 13 retirement living communities, and provider of home and community services to more than 6000 clients.

Josh previously led Catholic Healthcare (CHL)'s residential care, home and community, and independent living services as Chief Operating Officer for 18 months, before being chosen as Acting CEO.

“Josh has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead according to CHL’s mission and its values. He has also been a key contributor to the development of our strategy, and he is well-placed to lead its implementation and to continue to improve the lives of those we care for and serve,” said Stephen Teulan, Board Chair of Catholic Healthcare.

Josh said CHL “is uniquely positioned to continue to be a leader in delivering innovative and quality care services for older Australians”.

The announcement comes 34 hours after Jason Kara was appointed CEO of Catholic Health Australia.
