Stockland share prices takes off – up 67% in five weeks

The first good news in the property sector is the jump in Stockland’s share price from $2.20 around 10 May to $3.67 this week. There was no significant (apparent) reason for this leap. They did sell the Edmund Barton building in Canberra for $186 million to a German investment fund but this had been communicated to the market in December. An increasing share price will assess Stockland in its stalking of Aveo, which would add 70 plus villages to its existing portfolio of 22 villages.
