Life Care’s assisted living accommodation Gaynes Park Suites opens in South Australia

1 min read

South Australia’s Premier Steven Marshall cut the ribbon to officially open Life Care’s Gaynes Park Suites, an apartment-style assisted living community, at Joslin, 5km north of Adelaide CBD, this month.

Gaynes Park Suites is designed for older people who need extra support in their daily lives and is being promoted as an alternative to entering residential aged care.

“Residents will live in their own spacious, private suite, which is intelligently designed to allow them to age in their own home, meaning it’s unlikely they’ll ever have to move again. Even better, they can get on with enjoying life, while the wonderful Life Care team does the cooking and cleaning,” said Life Care CEO Allen Candy.

“Additionally, there is a range of quality care services available to support people as their needs change over time. I believe this will help relieve the pressure on families who are supporting their loved ones.”

Prices for the suites start from $550,000 for a one-bedroom unit and from $865,000 for two bedrooms.

Gaynes Park Suites, a project of North Sydney-based architects Marchese Partners (Life3A) and built by Adelaide-based Mossop Construction and Interiors, is situated next to Life Care’s three-storey residential aged care facility Gaynes Park Manor, with two homes of 16 rooms, in Payneham Rd, Joslin.
