Demand for Aura’s Indooroopilly Golf Course development sees final stage fast-tracked

1 min read

Demand has led Aura Holdings to fast-track Stage Two of its Somerset Indooroopilly retirement village under construction within Brisbane’s Indooroopilly Golf Course after the popularity of Stage One. This follows the fast-tracking of stage five of its Kingsford Terrace village in Brisbane.

7km from Brisbane’s CBD, it will provide 88 apartments, including four spacious penthouses, with views across the golf course. Prices range from $750,000 to $1.6 million, with prices on application for the penthouses.

60% of homes have been reserved, prompting Aura Holdings to bring forward construction of the final stage.

Brisbane-based Aura Holdings, founded by Tim Russell (pictured right) and Mark Taylor, has six vertical retirement villages in various stages of development and operation in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Toowoomba.

“Somerset is going to be something very special and is one of our most anticipated developments. Not only is it set within one of Brisbane’s most popular 36-hole championship course but also within a suburb so many people know and love. Many of Somerset’s residents are downsizing from their family homes in the area and they don’t want to move away but wish to live in a safe and supportive community without any home and garden maintenance,” said Mr Russell.
