Where are the ‘new entrants’?: ThomsonAdsett / Knight Frank / The SOURCE Property Review

Over 60 executives attended a ‘sold out’ breakfast at Knight Frank offices in Brisbane last week to review the village and care property sector.

Presentations were made by Russell Allison, Head of Health Aged Care and Retirement at Knight Frank, and David Lane, Chairman of ThomsonAdsett.

Emma Kopinska and I represented The SOURCE.

Discussion was vibrant – especially around the question: “Where is the next generation of entrepreneurs in both the village and the care sectors?”

“Missing” appeared to be the answer.

Among the attendees were existing operators earnestly seeking five or six villages to buy, senior sector figures establishing new funding alternative to banks and operators forging private/not-for-profit development partnerships.
