A retirement village proposal by the Tapiolas family’s Parkside Group is progressing through the Townsville planning system, with a development application now at public notification stage. The application for Parkside Annandale Retirement Village, lodged in December 2024 via town planners Brazier Motti, includes 159 dwellings – 65 Independent Living Units

TriCare’s $87.6M integrated expansion of coastal retirement village on exhibition
The family-owned aged care and retirement village operator has been operating 91 independent living units across three buildings at the site which were approved in May 2007. Now TriCare wants to expand its site in Hastings Point, a town in NSW’s Tweed Shire, with a $87.6 million project
