$5.7M in sales as construction begins on Living Gems’ new community

Demand for land lease living has been evident ahead of the launch of Living Gems’ latest resort, with $5.7 million in homes sold before construction commenced.

Buyers Peter and Gaye Fraser helped to break ground on the $160 million Living Gems Moreton Bay, in Burpengary East, alongside Living Gems CEO Anthony Puljich and Moreton Bay Councillor Mark Booth.

“We’re a very active couple, and it has everything we are interested in. We’re excited about all the activities the Country Club has to offer, and having everything within walking distance is going to be perfect for us,” Gaye said.

Living Gems Moreton Bay’s first stage of 38 homes have been launched in line with the start of construction, with more than 20% already sold ahead of their official release.

With prices starting from $785,000, the 186-home community, which will feature a $13 million Country Club, is due to be complete in two-and-a-half-years’ time.

“More than a third of Moreton Bay’s population, equating to some 170,000 people is aged over 50, so that’s a significant number of people in this region who will be looking to right-size their homes in the years ahead," Anthony said.

“The Country Club will be the community’s social hub, bringing people together for shared interests, and we find many residents actually discover new pursuits, like pickleball, water aerobics or the golf simulator, which are so beneficial at this stage of life.”

All homes in the gated community feature two bedrooms, plus a multipurpose room, two bathrooms and a double garage, flowing to an alfresco area.

The community also includes a selection of premium One Series homes, offering a larger internal space with an additional tiled courtyard.
