The Sydney retirement village resident, 91-year-old retired dentist Victor Twartz (pictured), stopped at Sydney airport when he arrived from Delhi, India, with 4.5 kg of cocaine in his case.

The drugs were made up as 27 bars of soap and had a street value of $1 million.

He had been lured to Delhi to meet people claiming to be Swiss from the World Bank and an opportunity to make $10 million. He spent five days with them before returning to Australia. Authorities acknowledge that he was duped and innocent.
