Home care provider Kinyara Health expands into SA with Accept Care acquisition

1 min read

The home care provider, formerly General Homecare, has acquired the operator which has been delivering home care and disability services for more than 25 years.

The acquisition is Kinyara Health's first in South Australia, and Accept Care will continue to deliver services under the Accept name and with the same team, but with access to Kinyara Health’s central business services, workforce support, and quality standards.

Norbert Walther

Rosanna D’Ottavi and Lise-Lotte Kruuse owned Accept Care for the last 12 years.

Kinyara Health CEO, Norbert Walther  said, “Rosanna, Lise and the Accept team represent the best of what home care can be – local, skilled, and deeply connected to their community."

Kinyara Health now consists of six businesses including Accept Care, which it purchased on 1 July:

  • Mornington Peninsula-based SAI,
  • Age Up in Melbourne,
  • 365 Care in Western Sydney,
  • newly renamed Homewell (formerly Care With Quality) in Melbourne’s north and
  • Harbour At Home (formerly NSW Home Support Services) in Coffs Harbour and surrounds.

The latest issue of SATURDAY featured Kinyara's development of an AI-powered care planning tool aimed at overhauling the time-consuming initial assessment process.
