The owner/operator has conditionally acquired with their capital partner three contiguous sites located in Berkeley, a suburb of Wollongong, 85km south of Sydndey's CBD, for the proposed development of a new land lease community.
This is in addition to Tallowood Medowie in NSW’s Port Stephens LGA, Stratford Gardens in Tahmoor, 97km southwest of Sydney’s CBD; Farley Lifestyle Resort, in NSW's Hunter Valley; and new communities in Cambewarra, Nowra; Chain Valley Bay, Central Coast; and now Berkely.
Last month they also announced Vivacity at Natrium, Coral Cove, a $250 million 502-home land lease community designed by DC8 Studio with project managers AVIDPM. Coral Cove is 20 minutes from Bundaberg and a short drive from the coastal town of Bargara, Queensland. This is in addition to a proposd land lease community in Fraser Lakes, Hervey Bay, on the coast of QLD's Fraser Coast Region.
Vivacity Managing Director Jonathan Steggles Mendez now has more than1000 land lease homes built, being built or in the pipeline backed by RF Corval.
In six years, the Sydney-based business also acquired Oasis Caravan Park in Kanwal, NSW Central Coast, which The Weekly SOURCE reported in October last year was well advanced with its planning proposal to build 675 apartments on site, including 102 apartments designated for affordable rental housing, and 200 apartments for independent living for seniors. Vivacity has also recently submitted a proposal to build a residential complex of 140 apartments on Darby Street in the heart of Newcastle's CBD.
