The Not For Profit has said it will buy Moran Health Care Group's Roxburgh Park aged care home, a 126-bed facility co-located with Benetas’ Bridgewater Lake Retirement Estate, 21km north of the Melbourne CBD.
Moran Health Care Group, a family-owned business started by Doug and Greta Moran AO in the 1950s, will continue to operate four aged care homes in NSW: in Engadine and Sylvania, southern Sydney, Kellyville, Sydney's northwest, and Stockton, a suburb of Newcastle.
CEO of Not For Profit Benetas, Sandra Hills OAM, said Moran Roxburgh Park would be added to its portfolio of 12 residential aged care homes across Victoria.
“We have over 75 years’ experience in delivering aged care and fulfilling our mission to provide older Victorians, their families and carers, with high quality services and environments that respect their independence and individuality," she said.
Moran Roxburgh Park will continue to be owned and managed by Moran Health Care Group until settlement, which is expected to occur on or around 1 October 2025.
