The Melbourne-based Not for Profit has honoured the Founder and Director of the Lighthouse Foundation, which helps youth homelessness.
Susan, who has been on the Board since 2005, is also co-author of Build Your Teenager’s Self-Esteem and Therapeutic Residential Care for Children and Young People.
mecwacare, in addition to buying a 144-bed aged care facility in Darley, Bacchus Marsh, 50km northwest of Melbourne, which includes a children’s playground, hairdressing salon, café, chapel and libraries, also bought Berwick Brae Village and Gregory Lodge from Royal Freemasons.
It also bought Pascoe Vale Gardens Retirement Village in the northern suburbs of Melbourne, in April.
Total Construction has also started building John Hood Terrace Aged Care Facility in Richmond in Melbourne’s inner eastern suburbs.
mecwacare now owns and operates 18 residential aged care homes, six retirement villages and has community centres in Malvern East, Pakenham, and Cowes (Phillip Island).
