New CEO appointed at aged care provider for the homeless, Wintringham

1 min read

Following founder Bryan Lipmann AM's decision to step down as CEO of the specialist aged care provider last April, President Gerard Mansour has announced that former Chief of Staff, Jane Barnes, has been appointed to the role.

Jane will work with Bryan until she starting her new role on 21 July 2025, the day after Bryan departs.

"Jane is extremely well placed to lead Wintringham into its next phase," Gerard said. "She has walked beside Bryan for many years, and truly embraces Wintringham’s values, commitment to homelessness & aged care services and social justice.

Following the conclusion of his role as CEO, Bryan said he will take a well-earned holiday. He expects to return to Wintringham in a part-time advisory role.

Gerard said Wintringham's board is in the process of planning acknowledgement of Bryan’s "amazing legacy".

Wintringham has eight residential aged care homes in Victoria, including in Melbourne and regional areas, and one in Hobart, Tasmania. The provider also delivers home care services in both states, and delivers social housing for the over 50s who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
