In our Top 10 village operators last week we erred by listing the very recently rebranded Amana Living as part of UnitingCare where they are actually the old Anglican Homes, with 18 villages in WA.
With a very fresh and distinctive kite logo, the word Amana means truth, integrity, and nurturing. Amana is derived from the Book of Kings 2 and the Song of Solomon and refers to a place where the waters were considered pure and cleansing.
Australian Unity were also keen to claim Top 10 status, clarifying they now have 13 villages under their management.
