Aged Care Queensland CEO Anton Kadash says the state will not have enough residential care and accommodation beyond 2011 because QLD received 813 fewer beds than were allocated in the Federal government's 2009 aged care approvals round (ACAR). In addition he states that at least 500 licenses this year had been given back to the government by mainly not-for-profit because not financially viable. (See next story). $36M Resthaven Bellevue Heights redevelopment in Adelaide opens doors
The South Australian Not For Profit provider has opened Stage 2 of the redevelopment of Resthaven Bellevue Heights in Mitcham, 7km south of Adelaide’s CBD.
