ACSA and ACAA merger stalls

The proposal to merge Aged Care Association Australia (ACAA) and Aged and Community Services (ACSA) announced in July and to be put to the ACSA AGM for vote this coming week has stalled. The form of the merged entity and a proposal to put to members has not been finalised. While the issues are complex word is that one key left field factor may emerge as the main impediment to short term progress.
