Sean Howard, who made his money with Malcolm Turnbull establishing and then selling Ozemail, has lodged an application with Newcastle City Council to build a 102 bed residential aged care facility costing $21.3 million. His company, Arton, has retirement and aged care centres in NSW, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland. An independent character, he infuriated Lend Lease Primelife's ex-CEO Rod Fehring last year by failing to renew LLP’s management contract to his Melbourne village without prior warning.
