At a meeting of the National Coalition of State Presidents held in Brisbane, on Friday 29th October, 2010, a National Residents' Association was formed. The new association is to be known as the Australian Retirement Village Residents Association - ARVRA.
The ACT has also this week formalised its own retirement village residents association.
