Blue Care has built a new 128 bed care facility in Labrador to replace its existing 40 year old non air conditioned home next door. But the Gold Coast Council is reportedly refusing to grant Blue Care a charity waiver on $500,000 in infrastructure fees and so preventing the residents transferring before summer. The Council says Blue Care is running a business, while Blue Care is falling back on its Not For Profit status.
