The Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs, Jenny Macklin has announced the completion of the Broadband for Seniors program. The program was launched in 2009 to provide access to computers for older people. The last of the internet kiosks was set up at Yarraville Senior Citizens Centre in Melbourne. The program was a collaboration between NEC Australia and a number of interested organisdations.
