BUPA: NSW nurses 2.6% pay offer rejected by staff on union recommendation

1 min read

Nurses and other staff working at Bupa Care Services, the UK owned aged care operator, 21 NSW aged care facilities have rejected a 2.6% annual pay rise, over four years, with nearly 85% of staff voting no. The Nurse's Union claimed the offer would see nurses working for Bupa, earn less than aged care nurses at most for profit and not for profit facilities.
