The Catholic diocese of Maitland-Newcastle is putting its aged-care properties on the market, potentially valued at $100million. The huge compensation bill from child sex abuse victims is thought to be behind the sale. The diocese has called for expressions of interest from three Catholic aged care providers to buy and manage facilities.
