After an at times gruelling Council approval process Catholic Healthcare CEO David Maher and Director of Retirement Communities Karen Martin have commenced construction of a new village, to be known as The Brighton, located in the suburb of Croydon (11 km from the CBD). It has been designed by Leo Campbell of Campbell, Luscome and Associates, and includes a day spa theatre indoor heated plunge pool and dining hall.
