A Tasmanian coroner has urged the family of an elderly man who died after falling at Strathaven nursing home in Hobart to refer their concerns about his care to the Aged Care or Health Complaints Commissioner. Albert Shaw, 85, suffered from Parkinson's disease when he died after falling in November 2008. Coroner Christopher Webster said there was evidence Mr Shaw had been given less than perfect treatment.
