Obtaining an ACAT assessment varies widely from state to state and region to region, as revealed in an answer to a parliamentary question:
Tasmania 14 days
Western Australia 17 days
Victoria 24 days
Northern Territory 24 days
ACT 24 days
New South Wales 32 days
Queensland 35 days
shortest time was in the Southwest WA at six days and the longest was the Hunter (NSW) at 69 days.
