First ‘free’ solar panels being installed this week at Glenhaven

DCM Sanctuary commenced installing the first of 8,000+ retirement village homes with 1kW solar systems that feed electricity into the home and electricity grid at no cost to the village or the resident, but generating an average reduction in electricity costs of approximately 40% to the resident. Glenhaven in Sydney received with the first panels on Tuesday with 300 more installations being commenced over the next two weeks. DCM Sanctuary is delivering over $72 million worth of solar panels at no cost to the industry and is now the largest solar panel installer in the country.
