Just released figures for January home loans saw the actual number drop by 1.2% - the first drop in 10 months but the value of all loans dropped by a significant $476M for the month. The average home loan nationally now stands at $291,300, a reduction of 2.3% in 12 months. The amount is significantly lower in Sweden, where the average home loan is 2,304,500 SEK with a 1.2% reduction in 12 months, according to 2021 survey data from Sambla AS.
