ING departed the village sector this week with RVA President Simon Owen officially launching Ingenia Communities, which he received 99.6% unit holder backing to establish an independent management structure within Ingenia. It will manage approximately 40 villages under the Settlers Lifestyle, Garden Villages and Australian Seniors brands for a fee of 0.5%pa. Owen himself has bet on his track record of building village assets, taking a base salary with super of $400,000 assessed as 30% below the market for his position. However if he achieves short and long term goals, including 16% compound growth in unit value for three years, he can double his income
