Every New South Wales operator now has only seven weeks in which to have the new standard contract in place. If they don’t, they won’t be able to make an ILU sale. Legislation requires that any prospective resident must have the new Disclosure Document at least 14 days before entering a village contract – meaning new documents must be in place by 15 September in time for the October 1 deadline.
