Patrick Reid has been announced as the National LASA CEO, taking over from Gerard Mansour [who is retiring for family reasons]. Reid is a pharmacist by training but in recent years has been fast tracked within the Pharmacy Guild of Australia. He leaves the position of National Business Development & IT Director. LASA Chairman, General Peter Cosgrove, notes Reids deep involvement in negotiating and implementing many aspects of the community pharmacy agreements as an example of the national level experience he will bring to LASA.
