Mark Compton has added to his already impressive career achievements with his appointment as CEO of Sydneys St Luke's Care, taking over from George Toemoe who is retiring after 12 years. At Alpha Healthcare he controlled nine hospitals and other healthcare activities. Mark is on the National Board of St John Ambulance, Chairman of the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research (a world Top 5 respiratory research institute) and was a director of the Australian Private Hospitals Association. He was awarded the Centenary Medal of the Commonwealth of Australia in 2004.
