A story that may have slipped under the radar is the formation of the Masonic Care Alliance (MCA), a group that will collaborate with member organisations to improve aged care policy and quality of care for older Australians. Lee-ann Irwin, Chief Executive Officer of The Whiddon Group says the Alliance’s aim is to become a reference point for stakeholders and the Australian Government on the provision of quality care and housing. The MCA has combined assets of more than $1.2 billion and provides home care packages to more than 700 clients, residential care services to more than 4000 clients, and manages more than 3000 independent living units.
