The small Port Phillip Bay town of Portarlington, population 3,100 and 30 kilometres from Geelong, is about to get a 100 ILU village developed by Lifestyle Properties. The principal is Derek McLaughlin says it has taken 10 years to get approvals for the $40M development. Two other villages have recently commenced construction closer to Geelong.
