Bupa Care Services have extended their New Zealand portfolio with the acquisition of Culverden care home in Mangere, Auckland. Bupa will refurbish the facility in 2 stages; the first stage due for completion in early 2011 providing 41 care beds, followed by another 50 care beds during the next six months. Bupa Care Services are investing $2.3m in the refurbishment of the site.
