Oak Tree Group builds village portfolio to 15 with Toowoomba purchase on New Year’s Eve via Jones Lang LaSalle

Simon Quinn of JLW sealed a $6.25 million sale to Brisbane’s Oak Tree Group on NYE of the Toowoomba Resort Retirement Village [from the receiver grant Thornton]. It comprised two separate but adjacent lots next to the University of Southern Queensland. The joint site has 25 completed ILU’s and approval for a further 94 plus pool and community center. Privately owned Oak Tree now has 13 villages in QLD, NSW and TAS. MD Mark Bindon (pictured) states the attraction of Toowoomba is that there are 1,500 people a year turning 65.
