This year’s RVA National Conference is perhaps the most important for the past 10 years, given the proposed marriage of the RVA with the Property Council, coupled with the rapidly changing landscape of the retirement village market. The impact of the merger on all operators is potentially significant. The shape of the new peak body and its mandate is being shaped now and tipped to be operational by the New Year. The demand by potential residents for care is also changing the village product mix – and potential regulations. The conference theme is “Dare to be Different” - and the program is different to past years, with emphasis on:
