$12 million is being committed to build a new 60 bed care and hospice facility by Port Stephens Veterans and Citizens Aged Care. Each bed is costing $200,000 so CEO Louise Watters plans to submit DA’s for 30-35 ILU’s in Fingal Bay and 16 ILU’s at Salamander Bay by late July and have them built and sold by December. She just needs $250,000 per ILU to cover her $12 million care facility cost. The price range for a 3 bed house in Fingal Bay is $350-600,000
