Queens Lake Village residents have taken their dispute with Stockland to NSW shadow minister for Fair Trading. A large number of the villages residents attended the meeting with the Liberal Partys Greg Aplin MP, which was also attended by the Nationals Port Macquarie candidate Leslie Williams. The dispute centres on rejection of the village budget by residents because of lack of details provided by Stockland. The Consumer, Trader and Tenancy Council (CTTC) has ruled in favour of the residents but Stockland appealed against the decision and both parties are awaiting the outcome of this on March 14.
