RSL Lifecare pulls out of Evans Head (NSW) village and care development

The Richmond Valley Council has reported with surprise that Sydney-based RSL Lifecare had pulled out of the development of a 120 bed care and retirement village development at Evans Head, just south of Ballina. The Council general manager, John Walker, is reported to have expressed surprise given the fact that council had just approved the commercial aspects of the development.
