The RVA is calling all NSW RVA members to contribute to the RVA submission on the new NSW regulations as their draft submission has to be made by 4 November, in advance of the regulations being made effective on 23 December. Andrew Giles, CEO of the RVA, points out that the regulations will destroy millions of dollars in village value. He also points out that the regulations are intended to protect residents but resident complaints to the Tribunal totaled just 38 form 45,700 residents in NSW villages in 2007/8, or 0.1% of all complaints received.
