On a lighter note, a fire at the Forever Young Special Care Home in Clarks Corner, New Brunswick (eastern Canada) turned out to be a bad day because in the basement firemen discovered 550 marijuana plants, together with growing equipment and a large quantity of processed marijuana. Police identified that the seized plants could produce 275,000 marijuana joints.
Family members of the residents say none of the residents were aware of the industry beneath their feet but they claim the operator was kind and caring and he treated their loved ones with dignity and respect.
The centre has now been closed.
