VIC: Council and VCAT reject Goldcare’s 100 ILU village/ aged care plan

Goldcare Kyneton’s plan was rejected by the Macedon Ranges Shire for a 100 ILU village and community centre, an apartment building, and assisted care blocks, based on the high density of the development. VCAT acknowledged the demand for elderly accommodation but also voted against based on high density and concern about a retaining wall.
